Telecommunications
End-to-end fiber to the home: route survey, cable laying, splicing, splitter distribution and subscriber connection, with every link certified before handover.
The challenge
Scope of work
What we did
We surveyed the route before laying anything, designed the loss budget around the actual span lengths and splitter ratios, then built it with our own field teams. Every splice was made, tested and labelled by the people who would be called back to it.
Technologies
Physical survey, obstacles, permits and a realistic path.
Loss budget, splice points, splitter ratios and equipment selection.
Laying, splicing, termination and labelling by our own field teams.
OTDR and power-meter verification, documented and handed over.
Outcome
Each link was certified with an OTDR trace and a power-meter reading before handover, and the traces were handed over with the as-built records — so the operator can locate a fault later without re-surveying the whole route.
Tell us what needs to be built and our engineers will scope it honestly.
